Our deepestest sympathies to all Franks friends, Scouts  and neighbors. We will always have fond memories of Franks visits to us in America . We even had the pleasure of meeting his beautiful mom on a visit at Christmas time. Our sons who are now in their 40s as teen boy scouts called home from a meeting to say there was a scout visiting their troop from the UK and needed a place to stay could they bring him home ? “Of course”! we said .

When Frank walked through the door we were pleasantly surprised to see not a teen but a grown man sharing his love of scouting and camaraderie in the United States.

We have wonderful memories of Frank’s visits to us, the many postcards , letters and phone calls that we received as he was one to always kept in touch.I’m sorry to say that we never had the opportunity to come visit him in England. To all of us who knew and loved Frank I’m sure you’ll agree he was a very special person who will be truly missed. May he rest in peace and always be remembered as a kind and gentle man .
